After docking the patient cart, dock the arms, install and then insert endoscope and instruments and make sure there is enough space between arms and patient clearance is satisfactory.

Docking Arms

Steps

1- Dock the arm which is used for endoscope.

2- Install the endoscope.

3- Point the endoscope towards operation field.

4- Press the Instrument Clutch Button and insert camera.

5- Press and hold Targeting Button on the endoscope.

6- Connect other arms.

7- Make sure there is a fist width spacing between arms

8- Make sure there is enough patient clearance.

9- Insert other instruments.

Endoscope

The Endoscope connects to the front of Endoscope Controller. There is a single connection for Vision and Light. Connect the Endoscope at least 30 minutes in advance. Light may be turned on later. Press and hold Lamp On/Off button on the Camera Head for 1 second to turn the light On or Off. Endoscope 3D Calibration, Focusing and adjusting White Balance will be automatic. Surgeon can change the Magnification, if he or she wants to, through the Surgeon Console Touchpad.

Instruments Insertion and removal

Insertion Steps:

1- Install the instrument

2- Press the instrument clutch button and insert the instrument under vision

Removing steps:

1- Surgeon should open and straighten the instrument tip first

2- Squeeze the Release Button on either side of the instrument and pull the instrument out
