Throughout the Submerged season and in the off-season, we considered what we would improve in the coming season. We decided on a few things, such as:
Improved robot design, using Spike Prime
An improved menu system to work quickly, as our previous one, while efficient, took a few too many seconds. (This just offset the delay to our locking mechanism)
Better version control, as we were spending 15 minutes per meeting on it, often longer towards the end, often with errors. We theorised that we could use PyBricks and copy the python into GitHub to remove those issues.
Allowing the newer members to work on Robot Design, as previously they were being introduced to the coding environment while the senior members were making Boxetta, our robot for the year.
A better gyro drive, so that we could customise everything about it, including the gain, so that we could use it as a gyro turn as well, and go in custom arcs.
