Music for Labyrinths is an open live project conceived as a series of soundtracks for labyrinths: physical, symbolic and interior. The labyrinth is approached as an ancient archetype, a form connected to meditation, ritual and transformation. It represents a journey towards the centre and a return to the world, creating a space where sound, memory and inner movement can converge.

A digitally remastered edition of Water Messages on Desert Sands and Urban and Tribal Portraits. The release brings together Roberto Musci and Giovanni Venosta’s distinctive approach to sampling, acoustic instrumentation and electroacoustic composition.
The music draws on sound materials from Africa, Asia and the Middle East, sampled and performed with acoustic instruments, then decontextualised into a language close to concrete music and plunderphonics. Urban and Tribal Portraits was also choreographed between 1990 and 1992 by Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers / Louise Reichlin & Dancers as The Urban and Tribal Dances.

A tribute to the Third Ear Band, inspired by the possibility of reactivating older musical atmospheres through new forms of listening and reconstruction. The project draws on the concept of plunderphonics, working with existing recordings and transforming them into new compositions.
The release revisits the musical poetry, ritual imagery and symbolic world of the Third Ear Band, including references to ancient Egypt, alchemy and druidic iconography.

A release combining material by Roberto Musci and Giovanni Venosta with a live concert featuring Chris Cutler.
The project includes music connected to Vampyr, the 1932 film by Danish director Carl Theodor Dreyer. The soundtrack was recorded at Palazzina Liberty in Milan in 1998. Although Vampyr is not a silent film, its minimal dialogue was sampled and transformed through live electronic processing, becoming part of the musical structure of the performance.
Released in the United States in 2014, Italia Forza is a compilation devoted to Italian experimental and independent musicians. Roberto Musci and Giovanni Venosta are represented by “Nexus on the Beach,” a composition originally included in their collaborative repertoire. The track combines electronic instrumentation, tape-based sound processing and French horn, reflecting the distinctive electroacoustic approach developed by the two composers.

The compilation reflects the label’s commitment to artistic diversity, international exchange and the crossing of geographical and cultural boundaries.
Roberto Musci is represented by “Claudia, Wilhelm R and Me”, a composition originally associated with The Loa of Music. The piece exemplifies Musci’s distinctive integration of archival and ethnographic recordings, acoustic instrumentation and electronic processing, creating an imaginary sound geography suspended between memory, ritual and experimental composition.
