Oxford Houses: Houses for individuals in long-term recovery from drug or alcohol use. Each house is independently run and residents must follow all house rules to stay. Houses are available for men, women, and women with children. To search for houses in your area, click here.

Roanoke Rescue Mission: 402 4th Street SE, Roanoke, 24013 | 540-343-7227 | The Roanoke Rescue Mission offers emergency shelter and transitional housing, free clinic for the homeless, recovery programs for those battling addictions, meals, food box pickup, GED, arts, and life skills classes, and Jubilee Acres summer day camp for children.  They also receive funding through sales from their thrift stores.

Teen Challenge of Eastern Appalachia: PO Box 19385, Roanoke, 24019 | 540-473-8148 | Teen Challenge offers a Christ-centered residential program for teenage girls dealing with addiction, self-harm, eating disorders, and other controlling problems.  The program includes counseling, private school, and support.

Turning Point Shelter: 24-Hour Hotline: 540-345-0400 | Emergency shelter for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

The Twelve of SWVA: 1801 Patterson Ave SW, Roanoke, 24016 | 540-400-7841 | Halfway house staffed with addiction specialists to help those in long-term recovery transition into society through counseling and treatment.
