Agape Center Vinton - 1568 Granby St. NE Roanoke | 540-655-4060 | Agape Center provides food, clothing, and household items for qualifying families by appointment only. Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am - 2 pm, 2nd Saturday of each month 9 am - 12 pm.  Serves families who live in Roanoke, Vinton, Botetourt County, Montvale, or Salem.

Roanoke Rescue Mission - Manna Food Pantry: 402 4th St SE | 540-343-7227 | Hot meals daily: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Breakfast: 7:30-8 am. Lunch: 12:30-1 pm. Dinner: 5:30-6 pm. | Drive-thru food pantry open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday by appointment only; Call (540) 343-7227 to enroll . Enrolled participants receive a box once per month with 60 lbs. of food (non-perishable items, fresh produce, and frozen meats). Dog and cat food may be available as well, and recipients may also receive free clothing vouchers for use at THRIFT 460.

St Joseph's Furniture Closet:  St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 5 Madison Ave, NE, Roanoke | Provides gently used furniture and household items ONLY to clients referred by St. Vincent's DePaul Society, Commonwealth Catholic Charities, Blue Ridge Women's Center, and Family Promise.  See one of these providers for further assistance. 

RAM House (Roanoke Area Ministries): 824 Campbell Avenue SW | 540-345-8850 | RAM House offers breakfast and hot lunch daily, laundry facilities, Day center to rest and connect with others, hygiene items, clothing closet, day and night storage, emergency financial assistance.  Any shelter guest is welcome to visit during hours: 9 am - 4 pm daily.

Mrs. Dorsey's Clothes Closet is open 9 am - noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Clothes, jewelry, toys, shoes, linens, household items, and small appliances are available to families. Shoe vouchers are also available for school and work shoes.

Salem/Roanoke County Food Pantry: 829 Indiana Street| janen@salemfoodpantry.org | 540-389-6938 | Provides a week's worth of groceries to clients in Salem, Vinton, and Roanoke County.  Also provides emergency financial assistance (utilities), school snacks, and baby items. Most clients are eligible to come in once every 30 days. Families must be referred by churches, schools, medical facilities, or government agencies.
