Texas made and Oklahoma raised, Regina Buchanan is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. She is the Founder and Lead Therapist of The Balancing Place. A group counseling practice, where she and other therapists provide mind care to individuals trying to cope with the regular stressors of life. She has provided mental health services to diverse populations for over 15 years. She uses ACT principles and Integrative lifestyle tools to educate individuals on the benefits of therapy, provide practical support and solutions to difficult experiences, and being a diary that talks back. One of the most rewarding things she has experienced as a therapist is educating the "strong person" on how to recognize stress and create balance in their life. Outside of therapy sessions she enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling to different countries, and practicing hot yoga at your nearest yoga studio.
