This year we welcomed 25 new students of the Pharmacy Class of 2026 to join the Rho Chi Beta Delta Chapter. The 2023-2024 President Geraldine Ciaccio started the night by explaining the importance of being a member of this society and how it shapes our students into lifelong leaders and successful pharmacists in the future. She then introduced the dean of the St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences: Dean Anne Lin. Dean Lin spoke about her journey in pharmacy, and the honor it is to be part of Rho Chi. To close the evening, Dr. Patel was nominated as this year’s faculty member and welcomed the 2024-2025 members and Executive Board. Congratulations to our members and thank you everyone for all the support.
2024 Coffeehouse Chat, Alumni Edition
This year’s Coffeehouse Chat featured four distinguished alumni members from various area of pharmacy practice including residency, fellowship, regulatory affairs, advertising and promotion, and research. Through their shared experiences, students were able to obtain a first-hand perspective of the job roles, responsibilities, daily routines, and pathways to entering such fields. This opportunity offered students meaningful guidance and a deeper understanding to support their future career aspirations.
