Within both buildings (Main building housing Grades 1 thru 6, and Shea building housing TK and Kindergarten) walking routes have been marked forcing the flow to walk in one direction to prevent overcrowding. Entrance and exit signs have been placed at both sides of the doors. Arrows have been placed to indicate the direction of the flow, and markers have been placed every 6 feet to guide students and personnel in approximating the distance they need to keep from each other when walking through the hallways and walkways.
Teachers and staff within each of the seven cohorts will be practicing intensely with the students, during the first few days of starting in-person instruction, the proper way of conducting themselves in the hallways and walkways. Special emphasis will be placed on the reasons behind following these procedures to motivate students to follow them.
