Lincoln Education Association-Retired will provide up to four $500 grants to support and encourage the retention of teachers in Lincoln Public Schools. These grants may be used to enhance your skills and knowledge and to support ongoing professional development through
continuing education coursework in your teaching field
an advanced degree program in your teaching field
professional workshops, conferences
classroom projects
The teacher must be a member of the Lincoln Education Association and will be starting year 2 - 5 of their career and plans to remain employed by LPS.
Documentation of the use of funds is required upon completion along with a summary of the experience.
Recipients will return funds if unable to complete the activity for which they were granted funds.
A committee, formed by Lincoln Education Association-Retired, will determine the number of grants available as well as the successful applicants.
Applications are due by March 27, 2026.
