LEA-Retired membership shall be open to any NSEA member who has retired and reached the age of forty-five (45) years or more, or an individual who is eligible to receive benefits under a school employee retirement system in Nebraska or another state, who was employed for at least five (5) years in a position that qualified them for Active membership but is no longer so employed.

LEA-Retired, NSEA-Retired, and NEA-Retired is a unified membership. Your payment grants you member benefits for all three organizations. The application will be completed with NSEA-Retired and your information will be shared with the other two organizations.

Lifetime Dues: One-time payment of $600; $300 for NEA Retired, $200 for NSEA Retired and $100 for LEA-R
OR
Annual Dues: $75 annually ($35 for NEA Retired, $25 for NSEA Retired and $15 for LEA-Retired)

Please note that the $ amount listed on this application is for all districts in Nebraska except for Lincoln and Omaha. Omaha and Lincoln have an additional $100 cost for their lifetime membership -- this is added as a one-time payment. If you chose to pay annual dues there is an additional $15 for Lincoln)
