Claus is an Associate Professor at School of Communication and Culture, Aarhus University, Denmark. He holds a PhD in game studies and has a background in media studies, didactics and digital media, and Scandinavian studies. He is part of the editorial team at the film journals 16:9 and MedieKultur.
