The Relationships with Reyes Podcast highlights all types of relationships, and the Los Reyes Familia wanted to provide a Scholarship component to recognize someone who is a positive role model in their community! Aaron loves working on Cars and Security and you can find him working on the Spanish application materials of this Fund and the tech support for the Podcast.
Jayme (IG @jaymealexis) currently works as the Director of Housing at DigiPen Institute of Technology. You can also find her overseeing the day to day processes of the Podcast and Scholarship. She has a B.S. in Sociology from South Dakota State University & M.S. in College Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.
Denae is Minnesota-born and raised a North Carolina country girl. She is passionate about travel, theater, self-development, reading, outdoor adventures, her fur babies, and fitness. Professionally, is a corporate AP specialist and a freelance digital marketer, & is a virtual assistant on the side. She enjoys social media and implementing the strategies she has learned to support her freelance clients. She believes that a positive mindset and her faith are the two things necessary to manifest her dream life, so she is constantly working to master both.
Arianne, a Hawaii native, is a two-time Lumberjack alumna, and obtained her M. Ed in Human Relations at Northern Arizona University. As a first-generation student herself, she is passionate about helping connect students to believe and achieve in higher education. She currently promoted higher education accessibility through her platform as Miss Arizona Collegiate United States.
Molly is the author of raw feelings, endlessly in awe, eternal learner, & blessed with an ethereal heart. She is the 2021 Worlds Ms. and the 2021 Ms. Georgia Classic. She is a photography & languages enthusiast, and a lover of cooking and travel. Molly is a proud aunty-mommy to her nephew-son and daughter-niece.

Beatriz is the reigning Ms. Belleza Latina international 2020/21. A native Texan, Beatriz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently works at the Veterans Hospital Administration as a Suicide Prevention Coordinator. She is also an officer in the Army Reserve and is a Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. She deployed in 2009 to Afghanistan and is preparing to deploy again in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Beatriz uses her title to bring awareness about mental illness, educating people on symptoms, treatment options, and support. When she is not at work or on military duty, Beatriz enjoys dancing to Latin rhythms, working out, binge watching Netfilx, and spending time with family and friends.
As a 24-year-old Miss America contestant, Allyn Rose made headlines across the globe with the controversial decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy after losing her mother, grandmother, and great aunt to breast cancer. Allyn's story inspired celebrities like Angelina Jolie and a new generation of women to take charge of their healthcare choices. Determined to encourage other women to know that their scars are beautiful, Allyn boldly became the first woman with a mastectomy to model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. As the carrier of a rare genetic mutation, Allyn underwent IVF treatment with Shady Grove Fertility to eliminate it from her family tree and is expecting her first child in March 2021. She is the founder of The Previvor, a 501(c)(3) non-profit women's health platform, which serves as a resource for women undergoing mastectomy and the creator of the #SelfExamGram, a social media movement encouraging women to perform a monthly self-breast exam.

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in southeastern South Dakota, Josie went on to receive her B.A. in Biological Chemistry and Peace & Justice Studies from Wellesley College and her Master of Health Administration from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Josie's life focuses have primarily been in non-profit work. This includes working as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health working with patients in applying for Medicaid coverage as well as managing the volunteer program and the crisis hotline at Philadelphia County's rape crisis center. Josie was also a recent Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda, where she worked with Community Health Workers to reduce childhood malnutrition in the first 1,000 days of life by co-designing and co-implementing various food and economic security projects. In her free time, Josie enjoys crafting, catching chamber performances, Instant Pot-ing, and embarking on new adventures.
Eric currently serves as Vice President, Deputy Executive Director for Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga. Eric ensures that the region’s internal conditions allow for pursuit of its multi-year strategic priorities in service to nearly 200 first and second year teachers, 700 alumni, and nearly 30 staff members across two communities, Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Prior, Eric spent three years as a school principal, leading the first and only open-enrollment, public charter school in the city of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Eric began his career as a middle Literacy teacher in the Mississippi Delta and also has served as an assistant principal. Eric received his Ed.M. in Education Leadership from the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Political Science from Rhodes College.
