In conclusion, alternative fashion thrives on individuality and self-expression. Whether it's finding a niche subculture or rocking one's style, alt-fashion empowers people to break away from mainstream trends and embrace creativity. This study has proven that alt-fashion is not merely a style choice but a platform for challenging norms, emulated through artists and designers within this realm who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining beauty standards. This exploration has solidified my belief in challenging the status quo and celebrating diversity in fashion. Examining the ground breaking work of Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes, and Alexander McQueen, has me eager to use the knowledge gained from this research and begin my creative endeavours, striving to create designs that reminisce on the movement and culture. Alternative fashion is not just a movement but also a community that has always resonated with me since adolescence, hence why I have passionately chosen this subject matter.
