This website is designed for lecturers in the Stellenbosch University Faculty of Engineering. As part of our ongoing programme renewal ethic in alignment with the SU Vision 2040 strategy, engineering staff have designed, implemented and evaluated initiatives to improve our engineering student experience. These initiatives are guided by educational theories and principles, and often funded by capacity development grants. Over the years, we have consolidated multiple resources, such as key engineering education literature, as well as posters and videos showcasing staff initiatives. The website is divided into the different elements that constitute our engineering student learning experience, from the curriculum to the world of work. Each section has a brief overview, key principles and suggested literature, as well as a host of video and poster case studies from contributing staff.
Please feel free to explore the site.
We do hope these resources contribute to your and your students' professional learning journeys.
