"I think maybe we should have a stickied daily or weekly question thread. Hopefully this could cut down on the repetitive chat threads for the same topic every other day that clutter up the sub (i.e where to start, help turning pic into pattern, what software is the best, ad nauseum.) Also could we please ban time lapse video posts, I don't want to watch your snapchat story of cross stitching in your hammock. Like ok post a link in the comments of your FO post if you want but I feel like its a junk post otherwise. "

We would LOVE to have a stickied question thread. The issue lies within Reddit and only allowing to sticky posts at a time, which are designated for the Monthly Featured Designer and Monthly Competition/Free Pattern. We won't ban timelapse videos but you're always welcome to downvote and move on to the next :)

One of our stipulations for WIPs is that there needs to be noticeable difference between your newest post and your last. If you're seeing WIPs that aren't following that rule, please report them!

Yep! Tag it as a CHAT and title it something as "Looking for ocean patterns..." then people can post links to stores and direct you to some great stuff!
