Ex Libris is a management game with elements of simulation, puzzle, and a light narrative. It calls players to engage in the duties and challenges of an everyday job within an extraordinary and mysterious setting.

Textures randomised through UDIM Mari workflow.
Modelled in Maya; textured in Substance Painter.
Single book mesh with five different textures created in Substance Painter.
Decorated with alphas created in Photoshop after diagrams sourced from historical grimoires, as well as public domain book illustrations and ornaments.

Given the game's reliance on the compass points and exploration, eight- or four-sidedness, octagons, and symmetry feature heavily in the layout of the library. Its architecture is strongly influenced by Gothic cathedrals and Oxford libraries.
