2024 Spring After-School Sessions
About: After-school sessions are groups of up to four learners. Learners will participate in reading activities and games with horses and other farm animals. This course is for readers who have never participated in a Rearing2Read program.
Date(s) and Time: Spring after-school sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 30-May30 (April 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; May 2, 7, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30; No class on May 9). Learners are dropped off at 4 PM and picked up at 5:15 PM.
Tuition: Thanks to generous donations from fellow families and local community members, Rearing2Read is a low-cost, tuition-assisted investment for a lifelong skill. In 2024 our program will run tuition-free, with a recommended donation of $125 per program/participant. No one will be turned away from this program due to cost. Do not hesitate to reach out about donations!
Horsemanship Book Club
***New Program***
About: During this class, we will read a book about a specific horsemanship skill and then do fun activities to practice that skill! This course is for readers who have previously participated in a Rearing2Read program.
Date(s) and Time: The new book club will run each Monday from April 1-22 (April 1, 8, 15, 22). Each session will run from 4-5 PM.
Tuition: The recommended donation for this program is $85 instead of $125 because there are fewer classes.
Rearing2Read is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions made to Rearing2Read are deductible under section 170 of the Code.
