2026 Summer Camps

About: Summer camps are for learners who need or want a session for learning new skills and making new friends. 

2026 Sessions Date(s) and Times: 

Summer 2026 Dates:

• "Big Siblings" Camp: June 16-18, 1-4pm

During this camp, campers will be paired with a "big brother/sister" for the week and work through a series of reading work and activities. 

Location: Rouxtano Farm, Hillsborough, NC

• Summer "Writing" Camp: July 14-16, 1-4pm

This camp will focus on story elements and creation through writing. During this camp, students will be exposed to clinical speech pathology services from Holistic Kid's Speech.

Location: Lake View Farm, Cedar Grove, NC

• Maine Camp: Aug 4-6, 10am - 2 pm

Rearing2Read is coming to Maine this summer! Join us for three days of reading games with the horses, swimming, crafts, and other activities at the Perkins' farm in Lincolnville, Maine.

Location: Frost Farm, Lincolnville, ME

Tuition: The recommended donation for camps is $275. We highly encourage families to make a $30-$40 donation when signing up for summer camp to cover the cost of camp supplies.
