BASE COLOR
In each Color sheet you will find three sections. The "Normal" one with the name of the color, the "Neon" and the "Diluted".
Unless your Kai has the Neon or Diluted Marking, you can only use the Normal color section.
You may:
- Modify the Saturation by a max of 10 points.
- Modify the Value by a max of 10 points.
MARKING COLOR
Each Marking will have their own guide on the permitted colors. There will be:
Any: Any color of your choosing is allowed, even outside of the Color Sheets.
Lighter than the Base: The color of the Marking must be lighter than the color of the base. You can use any of the "Normal" color section (Neon/Diluted only if the Marking is present), as long as it appears lighter than the base. You may also modify the Saturation/Value of the color you used for the base.
Lighter than what it sits over: The color of the Marking must be a higher value/lower saturation of the color below it.
Darker than the Base: The color of the Marking must be darker than the color of the base. You can use any of the "Normal" color section (Neon/Diluted only if the Marking is present), as long as it appears darker than the base. You may also modify the Saturation/Value of the color you used for the base.
Darker than what it sits over: The color of the Marking must be a lower value of the color below it.
Base White: You can choose any White from the White Sheet (Neon and Diluted included). You may only alter the Value by 10 points.
Base Black : You can choose any Black from the Black Sheet (Neon and Diluted Included). You may only alter the Value by 10 points.
Personalized White: You can choose any shade of white you want, in the following range:
Saturation: 0-10 / Value: 90 - 99
Personalized Black: You can choose any shade of black you want, in the following range:
Saturation: 0-15 / Value: 4 - 20
Gray: The Marking can be any Gray within the normal Gray color Sheet.
Cream: The Marking can be Cream colored (Found in the Yellow Color Sheet).
Tan: The Marking can be Tan colored (Found in the Yellow Color Sheet).
Gradient: A gradient of colors is allowed in the Marking. Each Marking that has this option will have a description of the permitted colors for the gradient.
PAINT
Paint (nPin/PinPin) is a Marking that affects other Markings' color. When the geno is rolled, if Paint is present it will have a color "attached."
Example: Bro + nPin - Gre
The Example can be translated in a Brown base with Green colored Paint. It means that one of the markings on the Brown Kai can take any shade of Green present on the Green Sheet. The Saturation/Value may be modified by a max of 20 points.
