Committee ⬇️
President and Vice President:
Provide leadership and assist with the management, planning, decision-making and overall direction of the Centre.
Secretary:
Works closely with the President and assists with meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, correspondence and Centre records.
Chief Fundraiser:
Oversees fundraising activities, including raffles, sponsorships and business partnerships, and coordinates with the Grants Officer on grant opportunities.
Treasurer:
Manages accounts, payments, receipts, banking, budgets, financial records and financial reporting.
Volunteer Coordinator:
Coordinates volunteer availability and rosters, maintains volunteer records, and serves as the point of contact for new and prospective volunteers.
Compliance Officer:
Helps ensure the Centre follows required policies, procedures and obligations, including safety, record-keeping, Working with Children Checks, insurance and RDA NSW requirements.
Safety Officer:
Helps identify hazards, supports safe practices and reports safety concerns at the Centre.
Rider Coordinator:
Coordinates riders, rider records and communication, and serves as the point of contact for all new and current riders.
Grounds and Maintenance:
Ovesights the maintence of the property including repairs,mowing, gardening etc and the general upkeep of the Centre.

Administration ⬇️
Media Officer:
Promotes RDA Kendall through Facebook and the Centre’s website and maintains current, informative content on both.
Newsletter Production:
Produces RDA Kendall’s volunteer newsletter.
Grants Officer:
Finds suitable grants and prepares funding applications.

Coaching ⬇️
Coaches are accredited through RDA NSW and meet ongoing requirements, including current First Aid certification, training and practical hours.
They plan and lead participant-focused sessions, monitor progress, adapt activities and oversee safety in the arena.
Coaches also support volunteers and assist with horse assessment, training, care and welfare.
Hands-on with Horses ⬇️
Horse Leader:
Leads the horse during riding sessions under the direction of the coach.
Side Walker / Rider Assistance:
Walks beside the rider and provides assistance as directed by the coach.
Horse Care and Preparation:
Assists with grooming, tacking up, untacking and preparing horses for activities.
Feeding:
Feeds and checks the horses, monitors their water and reports any concerns.

Other Roles ⬇️
Rider Support:
Assists riders with helmets, safety vests and boots, and accompanies them to and from the mounting ramp.
Fundraising:
Assists the fundraising coordinators with community and business liaison, sourcing donations, preparing prizes, selling and coordinating raffle tickets, and staffing fundraising stalls.
Events and Promotions:
Helps organise promotional events, open days, information stalls, fundraising days and Centre activities, including setting up displays and assisting visitors.
Arena and Activity Assistance:
Sets up and packs away equipment for riding sessions and other activities, and acts as an on-site observer in the arena during sessions.
Housekeeping:
Helps keep the Centre clean and tidy, and organises morning tea for volunteers and visiting guests.
Grounds and Maintenance:
Assists as directed with mowing, gardening, repairs, cleaning and general upkeep of the Centre.
