RDA Kendall provides mounted and unmounted horse-related activities for children and adults with disability, including riding, horse care and communication.

Each activity is adapted to the participant’s needs and abilities, with trained coaches and volunteers providing guidance in a safe, calm and welcoming environment.

With no regular government funding, the Centre relies on volunteers, donations, sponsorship, fundraising, grants and community support to keep operating.

Behind everything we do is a team contributing across every area — from coaching, horse handling and horse care to administration, fundraising, maintenance and behind-the-scenes support.

Time with horses can make a difference beyond the session itself.

Participants may improve balance, coordination and physical ability while building confidence, independence, communication and connection with others.

Progress may be seen in greater calm and focus, a willingness to try or the achievement of a personal goal — gains that can support fuller participation in everyday life.
