President and Vice President:
Provides leadership and assists with the management, planning, decision-making and overall direction of the Centre
Secretary / Meeting Roles:
Works closely with the President and assists with meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, correspondence and Centre records
Treasurer / Finance Roles:
Assists with accounts, payments, receipts, banking, budgets, financial records and financial reporting
Coach: Plans and leads sessions, directs volunteers, adapts activities to participants’ needs and oversees the safety of participants, horses and volunteers. Oversees the health, care and welfare of the Centre’s horses, including their feeding, condition, workload, veterinary and farrier care, records and day-to-day care arrangements.
Volunteer Coordinator:
Coordinates volunteer availability, rosters and communication; point of contact for new and prospective volunteers
Fundraising:
Oversees fundraising activities such as raffles, events and other ways to support the Centre financially
Media Officer:
Promotes community awareness, manages photo approvals, maintains and updates the website, and prepares Facebook posts
Compliance Officer:
Helps ensure the Centre follows required policies, procedures and obligations, including safety, record-keeping, Working with Children Checks, insurance and RDA NSW requirements
Grounds and Maintenance:
Assists with mowing, gardening, repairs, cleaning and general upkeep of the Centre
Safety Officer:
Helps identify hazards, supports safe practices and reports safety concerns at the Centre
Newsletter Producer:
Produces RDA Kendall’s fortnightly volunteer newsletter
Grants Officer:
Finds suitable grants and prepares funding applications
Housekeeping:
Helps keep the Centre clean and tidy, and organises morning tea for volunteers and visiting guests
Rider Support:
Assists riders with helmets, safety vests and boots, and accompanies them to and from the mounting ramp
