The Mesh Visualization Options (MVO) module has different tools that facilitate the visualization of our simulation.
When we fracture an object and generate High Details, when we apply the fractures, we will see the Low Detail in the viewport. This is because RBDLab needs to work with the Low Details to generate the simulation. From MVO we can change the viewport to High Detail whenever we want. By default we will always see the High Details in Render.
We can also create a decimate to reduce the number of polygons or choose what kind of smoothing we want, either in the external or internal faces.
We can choose Bounding Box as visualization to have a quick view of the simulation, visualize the Wireframe or put the whole collection with Auto-Smooth.
From this section, we can make a more "beautiful" visualization that allows us to create a render viewport of our simulation. We will be able to configure the format, resolution, etc... and have a real time preview of our work without the need to generate a final render.Â
From the RBDLab configuration in the Blender Addons section, we will be able to choose a folder where automatically, RBDLab will save the previews.
This tool allows to "open" the fractured geometry to see if we like the result of the fractures.
Its function is not to create an animation, for that, we have the Activators tool that allows to generate an explode in any geometry and animate it.
