In the Tools module we will find four categories, Restore, Clear Attributes Visibility and Bake UVs.Â
Restore: This section is thought for when, either by ignorance, or by accident, when a user interrupts in the middle of an important process of the addon without being able to finish it. With these tools you can reset addon states, to unblock and release certain parts that are blocked in the addon in the middle of certain processes, which require not to be interrupted until they are finished.
Clear Attributes: RBDLab uses attributes and properties in both objects and collections.
It is not usual to have to resort to clear RBDLab attributes with a normal workflow of the addon. However, sometimes due to problems, interruptions or others, it is good to have an option to clear them and start again.
Visibility: To be able to show the emitters that have particles.
Bake UVs: We will be able to make a bake in the initial frame (when the object is still not separated) of the uvs of the world. This is useful to be able to store the uvs and use procedural materials in our simulation. Once the bakes have been created either in high (if we had high details) or in Low, if we only had Lows, in the material that we use we can create an Attribute node and we will indicate that the attribute is called wpos, the output of this attribute we will connect it as if they were uvs to our material. This process may take some time but it is worth it if we want to use procedural materials in our fractured objects.
