Rate My Ditch is a humorous, map-based entertainment app for discovering, rating, reviewing, saving, and sharing ditch locations. The current app is available for Android, is intended for users aged 18 or over, and is operated in the United Kingdom by Alexander Ottolangui, operating under the app studio name Rate My Fav Apps.
Guests can browse supported Public content. Registered users can create ditches, upload photographs, post reviews and ratings, save favourites, manage friends and profile privacy, use supported notifications and leaderboards, share ditches, report content, and block other users where those controls are available.
The app is a joke; your safety is not. A ditch being listed, rated, reviewed, photographed, shared, saved, or shown on a map does not mean it is safe, publicly accessible, lawful to enter, accurately located, or recommended by Rate My Ditch.
· Discover: Browse supported Public ditches on the map, search for places, and explore ratings, reviews, and photographs.
· Contribute: Registered users can create and edit their own ditches, upload photographs, post reviews and ratings, and save favourites.
· Choose visibility: Ditch creators can choose Public or Friends only visibility where the feature is available.
· Share responsibly: Public ditches can be shared through supported device sharing. Sharing a Friends-only ditch does not make it Public or give an unauthorised recipient access.
· Connect with friends: Registered users can manage friend requests and friendships, subject to other users' privacy and friend-request settings.
· Control your profile: Registered users can choose Public, Friends only, or Private profile visibility. Profile visibility and ditch visibility are separate settings.
· See rankings and updates: Supported leaderboards and notifications provide social and entertainment features; they are not safety recommendations or emergency alerts.
Creating ditches, uploading photographs, posting reviews, saving favourites, and using most social account features require a registered account.
Rate My Ditch includes user-generated ditch names, descriptions, map coordinates, photographs, ratings, reviews, usernames, display names, and profile content. Do not upload private, sensitive, unlawful, abusive, or unsafe material.
Profile privacy, ditch visibility, and whether you accept new friend requests are separate controls. Limited account information may still be used where needed for supported user-search or friend-request features, while protected profile content remains subject to the applicable visibility settings.
If another user is causing problems, registered users can use available Block controls. You can also use the in-app Report option for supported ditches, reviews, and user accounts. Blocking and reporting are separate actions: a block is mainly a personal control, while a report asks Rate My Ditch to review content or behaviour for possible moderation action.
Reports are reviewed manually. A report does not automatically remove content or guarantee a particular outcome or immediate response.
Permission to reuse submitted content for Rate My Ditch marketing is separate and optional. Where available, it can be reviewed or changed through Settings -> Marketing Permissions.
Rate My Ditch is not safety advice, travel advice, access advice, route-planning advice, legal advice, or an emergency service. Maps, place-search results, user-created coordinates, photographs, ratings, reviews, and shared links may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.
Do not trespass, enter private or restricted land without permission, ignore signs or closures, approach dangerous roadsides, waterways, drains, railways, construction sites, or other hazardous locations, or put yourself or another person at risk to create or view content.
If you allow location permission, the app may use your current device location while the app is open or actively being used to support map and location features. This does not verify the safety or legality of any location shown in the app.

Rate My Ditch is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services for your location. In the United Kingdom, call 999 in an emergency. Do not wait for an app report, notification, or support email to be reviewed.
