ULTRASOUND:
Ultrasound/Sonography is a method by which internal organs, structures and blood flow are imaged in real-time, using high-frequency sound waves using ultrasound probes, called transducers. These transducers produce sound waves that have frequencies above the threshold of human hearing (above 20KHz). Medical ultrasound falls into two distinct categories: diagnostic and therapeutic. Some ultrasound procedures may require special preparations. These special preparations will be discussed with the patient by staff at the time of booking.
Ultrasound procedures offered include but are not limited to:
Abdominal Ultrasound
Breast Ultrasound
MSK Ultrasound
Neonatal Ultrasound
Obstetric Ultrasound
Pelvic Ultrasound
Small parts Ultrasound
Trans-vaginal Ultrasound
