What does reporting mean to me?
Reporting has been a part of my broadcast journalism and print journalism career. It can be described as a spoken or written account of something that one has observed, heard, done, or investigated. Making segments for Jaguar News Network and writing articles for the Pawprint Yearbook have both required me to observe, investigate, and hear many things. It's such a fun way to get to know others and make connections. I have been able to interview my principals, teachers, peers, and even politicians with my reporting.
Why is writing important to me?
Writing has always been an outlet to express my creativity. I love to let it all out and type my heart away on subjects I enjoy and others I don't. I've written many articles over my years in yearbook and I still remember the heartfelt stories I learned and shared with everyone. Writing is an amazing and easy way to spread love.
