Marketing can be described as the activity or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising. I used Jaguar News Network to reach out to close businesses to offer advertising for sponsoring our class through donations. At the beginning of my senior year, Jaguar News Network had no sponsor and needed new equipment fast. I am so thankful that I was able to reach out to Red River Counseling and that Cups was able to be reached by another student as well. We grew, as a staff and newscast, through the help of our sponsors.

I connected with Dr. Branden Henry after I learned of his counseling office located in Ridgeland, MS. I thought it beneficial to the school body to learn about his office and more ways to take care of their mental health. After getting confirmation with him, we set up a payment method for him to sponsor Jaguar News Network. At the beginning of every other episode of The Central, his business is displayed. I also created the Red River Counseling graphics and intro for The Central.

After getting Red River Counseling to sponsor, my producers and I decided there should be another business involved. The second business ended up being Cups Espresso Cafe and I did research to create the graphics and intro for The Central.
