With the Covid-19 pandemic things many people's priorities changed.  In order to keep the 3-year periodicity to the survey a new core team was assembled and Madhuri Dutta, Melinda Fischer, and Cristina Oliveira joined Simon Kerridge as co-investigators; given the maturity of the survey, no advisory board was needed.  The survey continues to be voluntarily run with the endorsement of INORMS.

For the third iteration of the RAAAP survey, the focus of "How I Became a Research Manager and Administrator" (HIBARMA) was chosen.  Run in 2022, 5076 responses from 66 countries were received to the questionnaire.
