Queens Theatre Troupe acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabek and Haudenosaunee. Many Indigenous Peoples continue to call this land home and act as its stewards.As a Troupe founded by descendants of settlers, it is our responsibility to recognize the atrocities that brought us to this land and to strive towards reconciliation. As a theatre company, we hope to honour this land's traditional guardians by continuing to tell stories here, and taking time often to reflect on the history of this place we now consider home.
