The chapter opens with shot of Aythina, a city in Leidan and citizens reacting to the earthquakes. A news broadcast warns civilians of the impending earth phantom threat as soldiers arrive, taking aim at the Earth Phantom. They fail to do any notable damage and the Earth Phantom retaliates with a magnitude 9 earthquake that kills off 2,500 soldiers and 299,600 civilians with one lone survivor. The Chapter ends with a sudden explosion from space lands as Koga Gen arrives preparing to take on the Earth Phantom.
