The chapter opens with the two continuing to fight before they landed to the ground in a standoff, backs against each other in overcharge. Brandon's overcharge runs out first and he collapses as ??? turns overcharge off and proceeds to heal Brandon and wait for him to wake up. When Brandon wakes up, he's shocked he wasn't killed and asks about it which leads to an important conversation about fate and the general concept of free will. That conversation ends with the two exchanging one question for each other, ??? asks Brandon how he hit him with his blade in which Brandon replies by stating "he targeted the air that he'd move through making it like a giant pair of scissors." Brandon ask ??? about when the Earth Phantom is going to awaken. Chapter concludes with a times skip to the Earth Phantom fully awakened.
