The chapter opens with Brandon Sangster and ??? already going at each other with Brandon pulling a 5 of hearts and explodes it. ??? uses the smoke as a distraction and kick him into the ground then rushes at him to kick him once more. He could've died but ??? decided not to kill him. Brandon pulls out three new cards and activates a 3 of diamonds and uses it to block an umbrakinesis attack. Brandon, of guard, gets hit by ??? and later blocks a punch with his kinetic energy, going into overcharge right after and creating a huge iceburg with cryokinesis. ??? breaks out by going into overcharge himself and the chapter ends with both looking each other down in overcharge.
