The chapter opens at 12:21 with a point of view change to that of Brandon Sangster. Brandon is in the main office of the Leidan Council Office and is visibly shown his constant clashes with said Leidan Council. He's given a mission in the Training Forest where the Earth Phantom is being revived and he accepts the mission. The point of view switches back to Kyla Conway's training and it's explained that your aura of excess kinetic energy gets its shape depending on your kinetic energy type. The chapter concludes with Kyla collapsing due to overuse of unmastered overcharge and Nyah mentioning that overcharge starts breaking your body down when unmastered.
