The Chapter continues directly after Chapter 16 as Aya says "begin" that officially kicks off the fight between Hydama and Althan. Hydama attempts to confuse Althan via afterimages but it completely fails and he also attempts to punch him and that also fails. Althan pokes Hydama sending him flying then he runs up and kicks him through the door before continuing on. Hydama uses an electrokinesis attack "jellyfish" that gets turned into crows, revealing Althan's innate kinetic. Althan sends the crows after Hydama, causing them to explode. The chapter concludes with Hydama protecting himself with a barrier.
