Kyla Conway and Alice Paleosage are invited to Leidan Exorcist High School as Hydama proceeds to wake up from a short coma caused by the loss of kinetic energy due to the eyes of fate. Brandon would explain, in pretty underwhelming terms by Hydama's standards, what happened in the time he'd been in a coma. Hydama is introduced to Dr. Goppo and told the differences between inherited kinetics and innate kinetics. The chapter ends with Hydama accepting the invite to the exorcist high.
