Welcome to Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro Campus!
The passage of Republic Act 11056 or the PUP Sablayan Campus Act in 2018 is one of greatest achievement of this institution. Being the only university in the province, it opens boundless opportunities for the youth of Occidental Mindoro and provides inspiration for us to deliver quality and affordable tertiary education for all.
Given the current circumstances, PUP Sablayan Campus will look different. We will work together to maintain health and safety standards while sustaining academic excellence for its students. The Sablayan Campus is the 21st campus of the University located at Sitio Macambang, Brgy. Buenavista, Municipality of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. It is an LGU funded campus created through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the PUP and the Municipal Government of Sablayan on October 6, 2010.
On August 9, 2018, President Duterte signed into law the Republic Act 11056 or the “PUP Sablayan Campus Act” officially establishing the satellite campus. Under the law, the campus shall offer graduate, undergraduate and short-term technical-vocational courses within its areas of specialization and according to its capabilities, to meet the needs of the province and the MIMAROPA region.
