MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
From a Pamantasang Bayan that offers PUP Open University Voc-Tech programs from 1996 to 2009, the PUP Cabiao Campus has flourished and currently offers undergraduate degree programs that started during the School Year 2009-2010.
This has been realized through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the Local Government Unit of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
The objectives of establishing PUP Cabiao Campus are: to bring quality and affordable education to the doorsteps of the residents of Cabiao and adjacent towns, promote continuous academic excellence and competitiveness, and produce God-fearing, values-oriented, socially and environmentally aware graduates.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Cabiao Campus started as Pamantasang Bayan ng Cabiao on June 15, 1996 through a Memorandum of Agreement between the Local Government Unit of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The school, which was then under the PUP Open University, initially offered courses in Computer Technology and Computer Secretarial catering to unemployed adults, out-of-school youth, and high school graduates who could not pursue college education because of financial constraints.
In 2009, the Sangguniang Bayan of Cabiao, thru its Resolution Number 018, Series of 2009, requested the Polytechnic University of the Philippines to offer a four-year program, particularly Bachelor in Elementary Education. Through a new Memorandum of Agreement, Bachelor in Elementary Education was offered by PUP Cabiao Campus beginning SY 2009-2010.
Cabiao Sangguniang Bayan Resolution Number 015, Series of 2013, led to the Supplemental Agreement between the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the Local Government Unit of Cabiao for the offering of an additional program, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management which started in the First Semester of SY 2013-2014.
With the unrelenting support of the Cabiao Local Government Unit and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, PUP Cabiao Campus continues to provide affordable quality education among Kabyaweños and other people from neighboring towns.
