New Research Bridge fund
Article 19: Establish a New Research Bridge fund to sustain research programs and sponsored activities in instances where an external research grant or funding source has expired or will end, but renewal of funding is expected soon. In FY 2025-26, an allocation of $150,000 will be used to establish the new fund. In the subsequent years, $75,000 to $150,000 will be allocated for this fund. The funds are for salary and OPE expenses of nontenure-track research faculty and/or academic professionals. There is a maximum of $25,000 for each award.

New Faculty Conference fund
Article 19: also establishes a new Faculty Conference Fund to support members’ participation in academic and professional conferences, symposia, workshops, exhibitions, and other events related to their fields of study. In FY 2025-26, an allocation of $150,000 will be used to establish the new fund. In the subsequent years, $75,000 to $150,000 will be allocated for this fund. Members can receive conference funding no more than once every three years. There will be two application deadlines: November 1 and April 1, as posted on OAA’s website.
