Article 17: Contract language now provides 9/80’s as an example of a compressed schedule arrangement and a revised timeline to affect changes in alternative work arrangements. 9/80’s are schedules where an employee works 9-hour days Monday through Thursday for two weeks, an 8-hour day on the Friday of the first week, and the Friday of the second week is a day off. The revised timeline is at least 15 days’ notice unless the needs of the department or employee dictate a shorter notice period.
