This mural was commissioned by the Protection Island Cultural Historical Society and The Protection Island Lions Club and mounted on the south-facing wall of Beacon House in June, 2023. The concept and design is by Jean Compton and it was painted by four artists from the informal art collective known as The Artzi Gals, specifically, Jean Compton, Jane Garcia, Linda Jefferies and Suzanne Lamoureux.
