Codes on the Airalo platform are typically single-use per account, and whether EDCC10 is single-use or reusable on later orders is not published externally. That uncertainty matters if your trip involves more than one purchase: a local eSIM for the first country, a regional plan for the rest, a top-up halfway through, or a second profile bought for a travelling companion. If the voucher only works once, the order you attach it to decides how much money it actually saves. Treating that as a deliberate choice, rather than applying the code to whichever purchase happens to come first, is the practical way to handle it.
The discount applies to the plan price shown in the store, so its cash value scales with that price. Airalo plans are typically priced in single or low double-digit dollars, with example price points of about $5 for a small plan and around $20 for a mid-sized regional plan. Ten per cent of a small plan is a token amount; ten per cent of the larger order is several times that. The discount does not change data allowance or validity, so a cheaper plan does not become better value simply because the code was used on it.
If you expect to place two orders and only one can carry the voucher, the larger order is the straightforward choice. If you are unsure whether a second order will happen at all, weigh the certain small saving now against a possible larger one later.
Airalo sells local eSIMs for a single country, regional eSIMs covering a group of countries such as Europe or Asia, and global eSIMs covering a long list of destinations. For a multi-country itinerary, this shapes the voucher decision as much as the price does. A single regional plan means one order, one checkout, and one obvious place for the code. Buying a separate local eSIM for each stop means several orders, and if the voucher works only once, the rest are at full price.
That is not an argument for buying regional coverage you do not need. Compare the total across both approaches first, then decide where the 10% lands.
Top-ups are bought from My eSIMs rather than by buying a new profile, and they add data to an eSIM you already have installed. Whether top-ups are eligible orders for EDCC10 is not published. The same applies to store credit and gift-card purchases: eligibility can differ, and the only reliable test is whether the total actually changes. Promotional codes are generally intended for new eSIM purchases through standard checkout, so if you are holding the voucher for a top-up you may have planned for a saving that never arrives.
Also assume one code per order and that codes do not stack with other offers or active sales. Whether store credit or referral credit combines with the voucher in one transaction is shown on the payment screen when you try it.
You can find out where the code works before paying, because the code must be applied before payment and cannot be added retroactively to a completed order.
Sign in to your Airalo account on airalo.com or in the app.
Open the plan you are considering and confirm data allowance and validity.
Press Buy Now to reach the order summary or payment screen.
Expand the promo code row, the tag or ticket icon above the total in the app or the text box in the web order summary panel.
Enter EDCC10 exactly, with no spaces, apply it, and look for a discount line and a total that has dropped by 10%.
If the order is not the one you want the voucher on, stop before completing payment.
Whichever order you choose, the voucher leaves everything else untouched. Validity windows are fixed per package and unused data does not roll over when they close. Bank foreign transaction fees and exchange rates sit outside checkout. Refunds return the amount paid, not the pre-discount price, and the voucher does not come back. Creating duplicate accounts to reuse a single-use voucher breaches retailer terms and risks the accounts.
