CHAIN OF COMMAND

STRUCTURE OF THE DEPARTMENT

High Command Staff

  • Commissioner of Police - The Chief of Police is appointed by the San Andreas State Government and he or she holds executive power in the Los Santos Police Department. As the head of the Department, they're responsible to oversee employees below them and ensure that the Department and its branches are fully functional

  • Deputy Commissioner of Police - The Deputy Chief of Police or commonly known as the Chief of Staff holds executive power below the Chief of Police in the Los Santos Police Department. They are appointed by the Chief of Police and are tasked with assisting the Chief of Police with managing the Department and its branches

SENIOR OFFICERS

  • Assistant Commissioner of Police - Assistant Chiefs are appointed by the Chief of Police and they hold higher management powers

  • Commander - Commanders are appointed by High Command and they hold higher management powers


Junior Officers

  • Captain - Captains are appointed by High Command Staff and they are responsible over an area within the Department, either Patrol Precinct or Division. Their responsibilities include the supervision of day to day operations within their respective area/division, as well as the supervision of ranks below them. They hold seniority in the Junior officer corp

  • Lieutenant - Lieutenants are appointed by High Command Staff and they are either assigned to assist a Captain within a specific area or , or assigned as the Interim Commanding Officer of an Area of Division. Aside from their area responsibilities, they are also responsible supervising ranks below them


Trial Officers

  • Staff Sergeant - Staff Sergeants are expected to host trainings, assist officers, be capable leaders. They also need to step up and act as a role model for the lower ranks. This rank can only be reached when you're voted in by the officer corp

Senior Non Comissioned Officers

  • Sergeant - They are expected to host trainings, assist officers. Attitude and temperament is important to work on, officers will be keeping a close eye on you for those two qualities

Non Comissioned Officers

  • Detective Sergeant - DS is a rank where you get to be the head trainer for enlisted. They also get further training themselves from the SNCOs

  • Senior Detective - (Trainer) They also get further training themselves from the SNCOs

  • Detective - (Trainer) They also get further training themselves from the SNCOs

Enlisted

  • Senior Officer - The highest rank of the enlisted corp. [Under training]

  • Officer - [Under training]

  • Community Officer - [Under training]

  • Cadet - [Under training]
