Briefing refers to acknowledgement of future events, shaping them to a state of ongoing events with proper assigning to deployment of troops for departmental advantage over any situation. It's a must factor to overcome miss management factors and less improvised state of events.
Briefing is to be done before Humane Labs and illegal area raids. In some scenarios, briefing will not be done due to less time factor
Briefings will bring a sense of responsibility and self discipline in the officers and remind them that each and everyone of them is representing the whole PD. It will also make them learn from their mistakes which will result in them being better officers. Self confidence is also another big factor
Debriefing is a report of a mission or the information so obtained. It is a structured process following an exercise or event that reviews the actions taken. As a technical term, it implies a specific and active intervention process that has developed with more formal meanings such as operational debriefing
A Debriefing is to be done after Bank Robberies, Humane Labs and illegal area raids
The most senior ranked personnel that was present during the operation will step up to the podium and start the debriefing. In case the senior officer wasn't present during the operation. Anyone who is able to give a summary of the encounter is allowed to give the mission statement. The debriefing will consist of the following parts:-
1. Mission Statement
A mission statement is a formal summary that explains what happened during the operation, how it took place and if we were successful or not in completing the given objective
2. PTS (Permission To Speak)
The PTS is the second part of a debriefing and the most important one. The person on the podium will ask people one by one what they want to say about the whole operation and their honest opinion starting seniority wise. The person on the podium will ask the most senior rank present if he/she wants to say anything first and then so on. People will step onto the podium one by one when their rank category is called. If someone doesn’t want to say anything, they are instructed to stand behind their seats and listen to whatever everyone wants to say carefully
3. Announcement
The management personnel should announce important decisions during this phase.
This part will be mostly ignored unless you’re instructed by PD management to call them after PTS
4. Assembly Dismissal
The host will dismiss the debriefing by asking everyone to salute and then return to their normal duties
