Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organisation business goals.
Manage IT projects using the PRINCE II framework or other approved methodologies.
Ensure alignment with organisational priorities and delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Develop and manage annual IT operational plans.
Develop, implement, and maintain IT-related policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and IT standards.
Plan, deploy, and maintain IT systems and services.
Oversee the organisation's technology infrastructure, including networks, security, and software.
Manage third-party IT vendors and service providers.
Monitor and enforce service level agreements to ensure value for money and performance delivery.
Participate in budget formulation and manage departmental expenses.
Ensure proper asset management and cost control.
Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring performance alignment with strategic objectives.
Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance management within the IT department.
Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure partner expectations are managed and exceeded.
Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks.
Ensure robust fraud controls, governance, and compliance frameworks are in place.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Business Management.
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in an IT environment.
At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Stakeholder engagement and influence.
