Significant Research Contribution
Research article, “Physico-chemical and Biological Characterization of Urban Municipal Landfill Leachate,” was published in Environmental Pollution (Elsevier, IF: 9.98). Referred by BBMP and KSPCB for the reopening of the Mavallipura landfill, the study received a ₹1.0 Lakh grant from BBMP for its policy relevance and practical impact.
Research article, “Design, Fabrication and Calibration of a Tall Pneumatic Oedometer Apparatus,” was published in Measurement (Elsevier, IF: 3.4). This custom-built oedometer, equipped with pressure sensors, enables accurate measurement of pore pressure, lateral stress, and wall friction in highly compressible geomaterials, especially where a high height-to-diameter ratio is used.
