The Editor-in-Chief and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief are responsible for the scientific quality of the articles published in each issue of the journal “Proceedings of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”. They make decisions solely on the basis of the importance, originality, clarity, and relevance of the submission to the journal’s scope.
Handling editors must ensure that all research articles comply with international ethical standards and the journal’s publication ethics, and must prevent any conflicts of interest among authors, reviewers, and members of the editorial board. Handling editors should not reject manuscripts based on suspicion alone without evidence of misconduct by the author(s).
All editors must preserve the anonymity of reviewers unless the reviewers choose to disclose their identity in accordance with the procedures established by this policy.
