The editorial office of the journal “Proceedings of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine” ensures the archiving and long-term preservation not only of published materials but also of all accompanying editorial documentation (including manuscripts, reviews, editorial decisions, and metadata) in order to guarantee their integrity, reproducibility, and accessibility.
Electronic versions of publications are stored:
on the official website of the collection;
in the institutional repository;
in national repositories, in particular the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine and the library portal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
on removable electronic media, such as external hard drives and server backups with restricted access.
Printed versions of publications are stored in the editorial office of the collection, the library of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine, as well as in leading scientific libraries of Ukraine.
To ensure reliability and continuity of access, the journal applies the following technical and organizational measures:
regular data backup and storage on multiple independent media;
use of standard, long-term file formats (PDF, XML, HTML);
assignment of persistent identifiers (DOI) to ensure stable access;
placement of materials in multiple independent information systems.
Access to published materials is provided in open access without time limitations, with guarantees of their long-term preservation in electronic and printed archives, as well as in national and international repositories, ensuring continuous availability to the scientific community.
Access to internal accompanying editorial documentation is restricted and carried out in accordance with the journal’s confidentiality policy. The editorial office ensures the storage of manuscripts, reviews, editorial decisions, and other accompanying documentation for at least 3 years from the date of the final decision on publication.
The editorial office ensures the preservation of archival materials over the long term and takes measures to protect them from loss, unauthorized access, or damage.
In the event of the termination of the collection’s activities, access to published materials is guaranteed through the aforementioned repositories and archiving systems, ensuring their long-term preservation and availability to the scientific community.
