The editorial board of the journal *Proceedings of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine* supports the principles of open science and adheres to the FAIR data principles. We encourage the publication and sharing of open data in accordance with the Panton Principles and the FAIR Data Principles. Data may be published in various ways, for example, by storing it in data repositories linked to the relevant article, or as data files or packages supplementing the article. Data sets must be hosted in a suitable, reliable repository, and a link (URL or DOI) to the data set(s) must be included in the article’s data resources section. References to datasets should also be included in the article’s list of references with the DOI (if available). If there is no dedicated data repository, authors should store their datasets in a general repository, such as Zenodo or similar platforms.
