The research entitled, The Efficacy of Eco-adhesive from Different Plant Sap, has a journey to be able to present the succeeding outcome. But before anything else, the researcher proposed its research title and approved by the panel last February 22, 2021. During the proposal, chapter 1 to chapter 3 of the research must be presented and must be corrected by the help of the panel to improve its content. After the proposal, the researcher revised chapter 1 to chapter 3 with the recommendations and suggestions of the panel. It really takes time to revise since it has to be checked from time to time until the errors last. The researcher revised its chapter 1 to chapter 3 for 3 weeks after the proposal. Taking a break is a must but the researcher still taking its time searching for the preparation especially for the materials to be used and for the validator that could help throughout the journey. The researcher emailed 4 professionals, specifically chemical engineers, that could surely help with the research but it was all failed because of some reasons and unavailability. Finally, for how many times of trying and taking time in finding, last June 8, 2021, the researcher found the validator that really helped with the improvements of the research paper before conducting. The researcher also takes time to research to be able to order materials in both online and local shops and the researcher starts to wait for a month from May 18, 2021 until June 20, 2021 to receive the materials completely. After that, the researcher started to collect the plant sap to be used for the research. The researcher went to their farm since they have different trees available in able to collect the plant sap and plant resin used. The collection of different plant sap was done for 6 weeks from June 21 to July 27 of 2021, since everyday it should be a routine to collect to be able to have enough plant sap to use for the eco-adhesive research. From day 1 of the collection, it feels hopeless since it is not easy to collect the plant sap. Day by day, it was a little by little progress until it reached the enough amount of plant sap used. Since the plant sap, ingredients, and materials are complete, last August 6, 2021 was the time when the researcher prepared and formulated the product. The researcher conducted August 7, 2021 which it takes 25 hours and 30 minutes of observation after applying the product into different materials. After applying, the adhesive must be set for 30 minutes and observe glue-up test or the setting speed for also 1 hour and taking the results of the following. After the glue-up test is the heat and humidity test which the quality of eco-adhesive is being observed for 24 hours and took results afterwards. August 8, 2021 is the gathering of data. Then September 6 – 17, 2021, the researcher is working on the presentation and interpretation of data to find the results in each statement of the problem. In the long period of time between the dates of every update is due to the other school works but in September 29 – 30, 2021, the researcher is working on with the chapter 5 which summarizes and concludes the results, and presenting the recommendations. October 1 – 4, 2021 is the time when the researcher finalized her research paper and making PowerPoint presentation for the final defense. Finally, October 5, 2021 is the final defense of this research and it is a success and defended.
